Sarangkot is one of the most beautiful and popular hill stations in northern Pokhara at an altitude of 1590m. This popular tourist destination mostly known for its panoramic views of mountains like Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna II (7937m), Lamjung (6983m), Machhapuchhre (6997m) also provides expansive view of Pokhara city, Fewa Lake, terraced fields and green hills. You can reach Sarangkot just after a 2-3 hour uphill walk from Pokhara and view spectacular sunrise and sunset views that will surely leave you speechless. Nowadays Sarangkot hill is the center for paragliding, an extreme sports adventure which will let you fly over Pokhara city and Fewa Lake along with other sites of the city. Pack your lunch, wear your hiking shoes and march towards Sarangkot view tower and enjoy scenic mountains while you do some adventure activity.

Early in the morning you'll be picked up in a private vehicle from your hotel. After the pick-up we'll have a short 40 min drive to the top of Sarangkot from where we can enjoy the breathtaking sunrise view over majestic mountains like; Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Manaslu, etc. After enjoying the view for a while we'll have our breakfast & get ready to hike down to Pokhara. It'll take us around 3-4 hrs to reach the city but before that we'll make our way toward the famous World peace stupa following the path on a flat rice terrace for around an hour. From the top of Stupa, we can enjoy breathtaking views of the Annapurna ranges, Fewa Lake and Pokhara valley once again. We also get to explore the Buddhist chanting room during our time here. We'll continue our descent further for another hour and half until we reach the bottom of the hill. We'll explore Devi's waterfall and the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave on our way back to Pokhara. From here, we'll transport back to the Lakeside area completing our day of adventure & you'll be dropped back to your hotel.
Optional: If you don't want to drive up to Sarangkot, we can drive to the Kaharaya area that takes around 15 min and start hiking from there. A steep hike of around 3 hrs will take us to Sarangkot & while descending back, we'll take a eastern trail toward Bindabasini temple.
