Australian Camp/ Dhampus trek is a short & easy trek suitable for people with less time in hands. One of the best hiking tours around Pokhara that takes you to an ethnic Nepalese village with spectacular mountain views. Like any other trek in the Annapurna region, the trek begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. It is a relatively short trek but rich in natural & cultural aspects, first taking you to the beautiful village of Dhampus, inhabited mostly by the Gurung people. The village offers striking views of the Annapurna massif along with Machhapuchhre (6993m) and Annapurna South (7219m). After Dhampus, the trek then takes you to Australian Camp which offers equally breathtaking views of the Annapurna massif along with sunset & sunrise views.
