One of the beautiful less-crowded hiking destinations around the valley, Lakuri Bhanjyang is a hill station situated in the southeast of Kathmandu valley. Located around 3km from Lalitpur, it is also a famous picnic spot filled with lush vegetation and greenery all around. We can get a mesmerizing sunrise, sunset view along with a majestic view of several mountain ranges from the top of Lakuri Bhanjyang which is at an altitude of 2100m. The hike begins after a short drive from Kathmandu to Lamatar. Passing through lush green vegetation, several small settlements and forests on the way, this hike gives us an opportunity to learn about the typical Nepali village lifestyle and culture. We can also get the spectacular views of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur city below from the top of the hill during this hike. A perfect hike to leave the hustle-bustle of the city and get a fresh air nature relaxation, Lakuri Bhanjyang is a must go hiking spot around the valley.

Early in the morning you'll be picked up in a private vehicle from your hotel. After the pick-up we'll have a short 30 min drive to lamatar from where our real hike begins. From Lamatar, we begin our hike on a beautiful diverse landscape that passes through several forests, lush green vegetation, farms and small settlements. We'll first reach Ranikot after walking for around 3 hrs before Lakuri Bhanjyang from where it takes another hour ascent to finally reach the top of hill station. We can get panoramic views of various mountain ranges surrounded by lush green hills from the top. After enjoying our time admiring the green nature in the clean air, we'll begin to hike down. We'll descend to pilot baba through Ghyampe Danda and drive back to Kathmandu from there. You'll be dropped off at your hotel after our arrival in Kathmandu.
Optional: If you want then we can extend the hike to 2 or 3 days to explore more around the Lakuri Bhanjyang surrounding and learn about the lifestyle of local villages as there is a lot to see and explore around the area.
