Our journey to the beautiful Bandipur village starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Bandipur early in the morning. Situated 143 km west of Kathmandu valley, Bandipur is considered as one of the oldest ancient villages of Nepal. Our drive to Bandipur through the Prithvi highway provides us a huge opportunity to explore green fields, lush forest, Trishuli river, settlement Nepali villages and many more scenes throughout the way. After reaching Bandipur, we visit Bindabasini Temple, Khadgadevi Temple and stroll around the Bandipur village till evening. Overnight stay at a lodge in Bandipur.
Our second day in Bandipur village starts with breakfast at the hotel followed by a short uphill hike to the Magar village of Ramko. Ramko village, on the west of Bandipur, is famous for its unique tradition and lifestyle so we take our time to explore this beautiful village. Magnificent views of the Annapurna and Manaslu range are seen from Ramko village on clear days. In the evening, we hike through the forest to reach Raniban which is a hilltop from where magnificent views of mountain ranges and Bandipur village can be seen. We enjoy the beautiful sunset view from the viewpoint then return back to our lodge in Bandipur. Overnight stay at a lodge in Bandipur.
On our third day, we have early breakfast in the lodge then hike towards the Siddha cave for around two hours. Way to Siddha cave is a beautiful hike through stone-paved stairways in a dense and quiet forest. Siddha Cave is nearly 437m long and 45 m high and is often considered the largest cave in Asia. We take a local guide and explore the insides of the cave which is full of mysterious and unbelievable things. Further, we trek down to Bimalnagar to witness the traditional Newari village then we drive back to Bandipur from Bimalnagar. Overnight stay at a lodge in Bandipur.
Our last day in Bandipur village starts with an early morning breakfast at our lodge. We watch the sunrise over the Himalayas for some time then start to pack our things to return back to Kathmandu valley. After a nearly 5 hours drive, we arrive at Kathmandu valley which is the ending point of our journey. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
