Lying at an altitude of 1700m, Sirubari is a picturesque Gurung village situated in the Syangja district of Nepal and is half a day from the tourist hub, Pokhara. Mostly inhabited by the Gurung community people, this village is a mixture of Buddhist and Hindu community people along with a few Shamans. Sirubari village offers glorious views of Himalayan peaks like Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna (8091m), Machhapuchhre (6993m) and Lamjung Himal (6983m) through different viewpoints along with views of serene environment and green hills. Starting with a drive to Pokhara followed by another drive to Arjunchaupari the next day, the Sirubari village tour takes you to the typical Nepali village to shower you with an immaculate taste of homestay and organic cultural cuisines. Having won the PATA Gold Award 2001 in the Heritage & Culture – Heritage Category, the inhabitants of Sirubari are well known for their hospitality and warm heart who make you feel like a family member in a short span of time. We start our Sirubari village tour by driving towards the city of lakes and mountains, Pokhara, early in the morning. It is a comfortable and scenic 6-7 hours drive along with the fascinating views of the countryside including stunning panoramic views of Himalayan ranges, paddy fields, green terraces and rivers following us. After arriving at Pokhara, we have a free evening ahead of us. Spend your time exploring Pokhara, relaxing and preparing for a tour the next day. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

After an early morning breakfast in Pokhara hotel, we commence our second day with a drive to Arjunchaupari and then head towards Sirubari village, our final destination. We walk for nearly 4 hours in a beautiful Gurung settlement full of greenery and traditional houses to reach Sirubari village. We slowly arrive at the Sirubari village where we are greeted by the locals with Tika and flower garlands. We spend the rest of the evening enjoying the cultural programs held by local community people showcasing their unique traditional dances and songs. Overnight stay at a homestay in Sirubari.
Today, we wake up early in the morning and first have our traditional breakfast in the homestay while looking at the beautiful village view in front of us. Then we spend our entire day exploring the beautiful Sirubari village and the nearby areas. We walk to the nearby viewpoints from where the splendid views of the surrounding mountain ranges like Annapurna, Lamjung and Manaslu are seen along with the marvelous views of the village settlement. We get insight into the cultures, local festivals, traditions and daily lifestyles of different community people living in Sirubari. We roam around the village area, walk through quiet forest trails, talk with locals, buy local handicrafts (not mandatory) and experience perfect village life in just one day in this delightful and friendly village. We wake up early in the morning and have our delicious breakfast while looking at the sunrise peeking through the shiny mountains from our homestay. Our last day in this wonderful Sirubari village ends with receiving a heartwarming farewell from the locals as we make our way to Arjunchupari. We walk through the same scenic surrounding and picturesque village for a few hours and then drive back to Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara, you are free to explore around and spend time in the Lakeside or pubs relaxing. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

Today after our breakfast at Pokhara hotel, we head back to the capital city, Kathmandu. It is a 7-8 hours drive depending upon the traffic conditions. Take a look outside your window and enjoy the view of colourful villages, scenic landscapes and local bazaars before arriving at Kathmandu. Enjoy the evening in Kathmandu by strolling and visiting the nearby areas as your wish and make memories and relax. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
